Calling all Junior QA's !!!!!!!

Our client downtown Toronto is looking to hire a Junior (entry) Level Test Automation specialist for a project with a large client.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Working as a team member: 
• Assist with project deliverables 
• Assist/perform test automation analysis and design 
• Build/maintain test automation stubs and harnesses 
• Build/maintain simple to moderate complexity test automation scripts 
• Participate in script creation, testing, and enhancement activities 
• Prepare test automation data 
• Ensure quality processes and standards are followed 
• Execute/maintain test automation scripts per test cycle activities as defined in the test plan 
• Identify and log defects encountered 
• Perform additional system testing-related activities, as required 
• Communicate progress of testing activities to the test lead 
• Produce “client-facing” and “internal” status reports, as required 
• Participate in lessons learned reviews 
• Participate in pertinent team training activities Required Level of Education 
• A degree in Computer Science and/or Business OR Diploma in IT and/or Business with equivalent IT experience 

• 3 or less yrs working in test automation 
• 3 or less yrs working in Software Testing, Quality Assurance 
• 3 or less yrs working with HP ALM and/or Quality Center 
• 3 or less yrs working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) 
• 3 or less yrs advanced experience with HP Quick Test Professional 
• 3 or less yrs experience with scripting languages (e.g. VBscript, VBA, JavaScript, PERL) 
• 1 or less yrs experience working with SAP (immediate interview!!!!!)

Nice to Have Skills and Experience 
• Automating web-based client/server solutions 
• Working knowledge of banking industry 
• Experience with Open Source and industry recognized test automation tools 
• Experience with versioning control systems (e.g. CVS, SVN, Perforce) 
• Experience with web service technologies and tools (e.g. soapUI, XML, SOAP, WSDL)
